Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in California. I'm studying to become a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sarah and I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a student at Brigham Young University and my goal is to become a nurse. I am currently working as a Nurse's Assistant at a long-term care and rehabilitation center to gain experience. Even though it is hard work, I LOVE helping those in need of comfort and being there for them in this trying time of their lives. Using my skills to serve others is one of the most rewarding feelings. I love the Savior and know that he wants us to serve others with His love. Every one of us has special talents and abilites and can give in our own unique way:)

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into this faith. I have stayed with the church throughout my life because I love the gospel and the amazing blessings it brings to my life. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for every single person on this earth and it doesn't matter who you are. He will be there for you if you sincerely ask for help and guidance through prayer. It takes effort to receive answers. If you are searching for an answer you can find it; but you have to be looking, searching, and paying attention to the whisperings of the holy spirit. It may feel like a hard thing to do but Heavenly Father knows the desires of our hearts. He will guide you. I have a strong testimony of the atonement. Christ suffered for each of our sins individually and bled from every pore because he loves us and knew that it was the ONLY way for us to receive eternal life. Christ is our redeemer and older brother. We need to repent of our sins and keep the commandments. After all that we can possibly do on our own, we can turn to the savior and his grace and mercy will save us; but only after we have shown good works and faith. This gospel inspires me to always do better and help those around me. It takes work to believe. But by sacrificing your time to strengthen your spirit, there will be blatant blessings shown in your life. I say these things in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I served an 18 month mission in Nicaragua where I helped teach the people about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I absolutely loved getting to know the Nicaraguans and seeing their progression as they came closer to Christ. I also live my faith by befriending those around me and trying to be the best example I can be, even with my many faults. I love our Heavenly Father and want to serve him to the best of my ability!

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

There are souls in heaven waiting to come down to this earth and receive bodies. They want to experience life, make their own decisions, and fulfill this test here on earth. When a child is conceived, they are on their way to making this amazing journey called life. Even if this pregnancy was not expected and would be easier to stop, think of that spirit in heaven who is awaiting their time on this earth. It will be hard. But it will be worth it to keep Heavely Father's child. Show more Show less
