Hi I'm Katie

I love to Hula dance and have been doing so since I was 2. I also love to play Ukulele and sing.

About Me

I have a really big family- 6 brothers and 3 sisters. I am the youngest of all of them and I love them dearly. My family is also very musical and this has inspired me to learn how to play ukulele and guitar. I also love to sing and really perform in general. I've been doing Hawaiian dancing since I was two because I was born with the congenital hip and hula was the thing that would help lead me to live a healthy and normal life, and it has.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I know this gospel to be true because of the miracles I've experienced. Not many of them were huge, magical moments. Mostly just the small blessings that most people see as coincidences. Like, finding some cash when I'm almost out of gas in my car. These are reminders that my Heavenly Father is watching out for me. Another reason is the peace and comfort that I get from living faithfully. There's no better feeling than finding an answer to a prayer at just the right moment and I know that I wouldn't get that answer or those blessings if I wasn't living how I am. I am a Mormon. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

How I live my faith

So far, through life I've lived my faith through the small things. I read my scriptures almost everyday, I go to church and pay my tithing, and I pray to my Heavenly Father. I try my best to keep the commandments and when I mess up I know that I can repent. I love my family and try to love and reach out to others with love as well.
