Hi I'm Austen

I'm from Utah, I love singing, boating, anything that has to do with Disney, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born into a wonderful family with loving parents and two younger sisters. Family is very important to me as I've lived next door to my cousins and grandparents all my life. Some of my hobbies include singing, participating in musical theater, waterskiing, boating, watching BYU football, and hanging out with friends. I also love anything that has to do with Disney. I am currently a freshman at Brigham Young University, and I am loving it. I was recently called to serve in the Mexico Tijuana Mission and will begin to preach the gospel to that part of the world in January.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know with all my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. Through diligent study of The Book of Mormon and other Church teachings, humble and sincere prayer, and through the power of the Holy Ghost, I was able to know the truthfulness of the gospel. Every time when I had my doubts about the Church, I would remember that warm, peaceful feeling I felt when reading the scriptures or listening to inspired LDS music. That peaceful feeling was the Spirit testifying to me of the truthfulness of the gospel. I cannot deny the peaceful, warm feeling I receive whenever I immerse myself in the doctrines of the church. The blessings that I receive from my loving Heavenly Father each day are a result of me keeping the commandments and trying to become more Christlike. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true! It's a glorious, life-changing message that I wish to proclaim to the world so other people may receive the wonderful blessings that only the gospel can bring.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith everyday, no matter what activity I'm doing. I've committed myself to be 100% faithful to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in all that I do, and I have been blessed tremendously because of it. One way I've lived my faith has been through youth leadership positions in the church, where I've had many opportunities to serve. I've served in numerous leadership positions in scouting, youth groups, and choirs and other music opportunities.
