Hi I'm Adam Gamble

I have a wife and 2 year old daughter. Life is good.

About Me

I am a husband to my wife, a father and dad to my daughter and a brother to three sisters and three brothers. I am going to school to get a degree while growing my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I feel that my life has a purpose that I need to fulfill and I can only do it within the church. Without the church and its leaders, I feel that I would be feeling like a useless member of society and a total outcast. With the church, I believe I have a purpose and a meaning to the things I do in life.

How I live my faith

I am a counselor with my group president and his other counselor. We plan events for our group of men 18~55. We have done dutch oven cookouts, sports events (typically basketball), a target practice outing, and a pinball/arcade outing. We have more planned in the future. Besides the activities as a presidency we meet together on a weekly basis to decide what kinds of things we need to do for our group members. This past holiday season we decided to visit 30 families and deliver a small popcorn treat to let them know we are thinking of them and care for them. More often we visit specific families we feel need a visit from us and take a message for them to hopefully strengthen them to live a life that would please our Father in Heaven.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Adam Gamble
I can attest to what Gordon B. Hinckley stated of Joseph Smith. We believe him to be a mortal instrument in the hands of God. He revealed truths that had been changed or lost. He translated The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ. He received authority and power from Jesus Christ's apostles of olden time (Peter, James, and John) via the laying on of hands. He has done many other things as well. Show more Show less
