Hi I'm Mike

I am a convert. I love playing music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student in Arizona. I have been involved in music since the 3rd grade and continue to play drums and guitar to this day. While I am usually a full-time student, I have decided to take a two year leave of absence to serve a mission for the church. After being a member for only a short year, I realized that serving the Lord full time is truly what I wanted to do. Not only will I be able to help others come unto Christ, but I will be able to grow closer to Him myself and continue building upon my already solid testimony.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it simply made sense. All of these questions I had about religion growing up could only be answered by Mormon doctrine and principles that were taught. The more I grow in the church, the more I come to realize that this is Christ's true church on the earth today. When I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was the word of God and if I should be baptized, I got an undeniable answer that has led me to gain so much happiness and purpose that I never knew I was missing out on.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to serve others and be an example of what a Latter-Day Saint should be. Being the only member in my entire family, I am the really the only Mormon my family knows personally. It is my goal to make sure that they understand the happiness the gospel has brought in to my life and why I make the choices I do in the church. They have seen a change in me since my conversion and I constantly share my testimony of the trueness of the church so that they may experience the same joy that I have come to know.
