Hi I'm Holly

I'm a bookworm. I love horses. I speak Russian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying English and Russian. I love English, history, art, and politics. I have blue eyes and dimples. I love to ride horses, play volleyball, watch movies, dance in my room, and spend time with my family. I have five siblings and two wonderful and loving parents. I am a practical dreamer and avid reader. Austen, Bronte, Hugo, Hardy, Keats, and Shelley are my close friends. I love playing games and putting together puzzles. I am an amateur chef, quilter, and blogger. I love to learn, travel, explore, and create. I love being me! I am currently serving as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and have been taught of the principles and doctrines at home and in church my whole life. I don't have one climactic moment when I was personally converted. Rather, my conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ has come gradually. My testimony has come from doing the basic things like reading my scriptures, praying, and attending church, and bit by bit the Spirit of the Lord has born witness to me of the truthfulness of the things I have been taught to the point now where I know of a surety that it is true. It is through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that I find all my happiness, all my blessings. My testimony has given me confidence, endurance, strength, and love. It is what brings me joy. It is at the root of everything good and beautiful in my life. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served in callings in my church where I have organized activities, taught in church, and helped to build and strengthen the youth and young adults of the church. These experiences have been priceless and precious to me. They have strengthened my faith, built my confidence, and helped me have experiences as a leader, teacher, and help mate to those in my church and community.
