Hi I'm Michael

I've lived in a lot of different places. I plan on becoming a humanitarian by helping people become self-sustaining.

About Me

Up until recently I was attending college, studying to become an environmental engineer, although soon I will be serving an LDS mission in Chile. I like to read and write fiction, swim, hike, play games with friends, and am a generally social person. I have lived in many locations throughout the southwest, including New Mexico, Colorado, and multiple areas of California.

Why I am a Mormon

God loves us all and is our Eternal Father. He wishes to have us come back to him, not as people that made no mistakes, but rather as people that, despite our mistakes, strove to follow him. He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to live and die for us that we might not have to be stuck in these mistakes, but might instead have the chance to learn and grow from them so that one day we might come back to God stronger and more capable than when we left him. I have made many mistakes throughout my life, and have felt alone, as though no one in the world could love me because of these mistakes. But I testify that no matter what you have done, no matter how dark or alone you may feel, God is always there with his hand outstretched, waiting for you to reach to him. There is no mistake that Christ's sacrifice cannot wash away, no sin that cannot be forgiven. I love this church and more especially this gospel because it has shown me that God will always be there for me. This knowledge has strengthened me in my darkest times, and I know that it can strengthen you too.

How I live my faith

I attend my local church ward every week, as well as participate in multiple church-sponsored activities and religion classes.
