Hi I'm Jeff Clark

I grew up in Utah. I served my country on active duty in the Navy and currently serve in the Reserves. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dad to four wonderful children and am happily married. I love to travel and have studied and lived in Israel and Japan. I enjoy running marathons and participating in long distance relay races with my family. I also enjoy learning about other cultures in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I've learned that I'm happy and secure when I keep God's commandments and strive to live selflessly. In contrast, I know from experience that selfishness leads to unhappiness. I know that we're all God's children and that He loves and wants the best for us. I'm grateful for Jesus Christ and the ultimate gift he's given to each of us. I'm a Mormon because the teachings of Jesus Christ contained in the Church set me on a course of progression that is in harmony with God's will for me and my family. I know that no other success in life can compensate for failure in the home. My faith gives me the ability to lead and teach my family those Christ like principles that will enable them to live happy successful lives. This gives me a great sense of joy as a father.

How I live my faith

I love sharing and teaching others about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have the opportunity to teach Sunday School twice a month and often feel that I'm being taught by class members as they share their personal experiences with me about applying the teachings of Christ in their lives. I also have the opportunity to visit and teach three families in my local community each month. I love the bonds of friendship that I have with these families as well as the occasional opportunity to help them resolve problems in their lives.
