Hi I'm Madi

I grew up in Colorado. I love sports and musicals. I love the cold and snow. Winter is my season of choice. I'm a mormon

About Me

I love to play soccer, softball, volleyball, basketball, football, and rugby; however, I loathe running. I love to sing, dance and perform in musicals. I'm in love with reading and write as much as possible. I have a passion for baking and a bigger passion for eating baked goods. I'm currently going to college to major in English Education and minoring in French Education. I sing at the top of my lungs while driving. Adore ice cream in cold weather and a fresh cup of hot cocoa in the summer. I graduated from seminary with a hot pocket in one hand and a book of mormon in the other.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know this church is true. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that He is my Redeemer. I know that God is the same today, tomorrow, and forever. He would never leave me to wander without a prophet to guide and direct me. I know that my Heavenly Father is there, listening to my prayers and answering them in His own time. I know He has a plan for me. I know that I am a daughter of God and that He loves and cares for me. I know that families can be together forever. Truly this church is God's church, for it is based on plain and simple truths. It is the same church that Jesus Christ built upon this earth, and it has been restored by the prophet Joseph Smith. I have come to know of all these things because I asked of God to know if it was true and He answered with a warm soft assurance and I knew that all these things were true, and I cannot deny them. The Book Of Mormon is the Word of God. It is another testament of Jesus Christ. I testify of Christ and of His pure love and that is why I am Mormon. I am not ashamed.

How I live my faith

I have a few callings in my church, such as, welcoming new members into our congregation. It's an amazing calling where I feel like I can be a dependable friend. I am also a ward missionary, meaning I go out and find members in our congregation that no one has seen in a while and check to make sure they are doing alright. It's a great responsibility to make sure every one is alive and well and to help others with their problems. I also have the wonderful opportunity to invite people to come and visit my church and church activities. We help one another and strengthen each other. I try to create an environment where every one can learn and grow. I live my faith by committing to the standards of the church and by making goals that I strive to achieve.
