Hi I'm Brandon Mickelson

I grew up in Grace, Idaho. I have three little sisters. I am a pre-medical student, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I went to Grace High School in Grace, Idaho where I was involved in many different clubs and organizations. I was the student body president. I have attended 1 semester at BYU-Idaho. I am going to become a doctor eventually, but I still have quite a ways to go. I have earned my eagle scout award. During high school I was involved in FFA, BPA, National Honor Society, and I was the yearbook editor. I enjoy shooting guns, camping, and spending time doing practically anything with family and friends. My dad passed away when I was nine in a terrible farming accident. I am now serving a mission in the Chile, Viña del Mar mission. Yo hablo español (:

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. I know that the temple is the house of the Lord and that we can feel close to him there. I know that through keeping the commandments not only can we be protected from the influences of the devil, but that our families can be together forever. I know that when I read my scriptures, say my prayers, and attend my church meetings that I have more power over the devil. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. Sometimes he just does it in his own timetable and in mysterious ways. I know that the gospel has been restored.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith in the past by taking on different callings in my ward. I have been the priest quorum secretary, and the ward service project chairman. Another way that I live my faith is by home teaching every month. I am now living my faith by serving a full-time mission in South America.
