Hi I'm Tyler

I am a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and always will be, I'm an Eagle Scout, and Mormon!

About Me

I love to play sports! I have recently returned from the Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission due to medical problems, and I am now serving the Lord in the Washington Everett Mission I have received my Eagle Scout Award and received the Denali Award also. I love helping others as well as speaking Spanish!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. I also know that the Book of Mormon is true, and the Word of God. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet today. I also know The Atonement is true and know that without it we would still be waiting up in heaven. I know this Gospel is true and that Joseph Smith did restore the true church on the earth today. I know that missionary work is the way to bring others unto Christ! I know that Christ died for us so that we can return to live with him again some day, and all we have to do is to keep the commandments and do what is right!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving an LDS mission. I served for fifteen months in the Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission and returned home early because of medical issues. I am now currently serving my mission in the Washington Everett Mission! I love teaching the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ to people and I know that it is true!

What is the First Vision?

Tyler
The First Vision took place in the year 1820. A young boy named Joseph Smith was reading in The Bible, when he stumbled upon a scripture in James 1:5 which says, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him". When Joseph Smith read this after having the question of "Which Church was true?" He went to a grove of trees to pray. He knelt down and started to pray. When he prayed, he saw two personages that glorified all description. One of them spoke unto him and said unto him, "Joseph this is my Beloved Son. Hear Him!" At this time Jesus Christ spoke to Joseph and told him that none of the churches were true on the Earth and that he shouldn't join any of them. Show more Show less
