Hi I'm Katherine

I'm a twin, a dietetics student, a NICU diet tech, a skiier, I love to keep journals, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Katherine and I have a twin sister who looks just like me. I am a tennis player, a skiier, and a student at BYU. I love nutrition and I want to be a dietitian focused on diabetes. I love exercising and having motivation to be healthy. I believe life is amazing so I document everything and so I am an avid journal writer because I want to remember my amazing blessings from God each day. I served a mission in Minnesota learning the S'gaw Karen language! The decision to serve a mission was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love helping other souls find and come unto Christ! I recently married my best friend and I have the happiest life!

Why I am a Mormon

I find a lot of comfort in praying to my Heavenly Father. He has given me everything! Everyone will go through rough times and I know that without my faith I wouldn't be able to stay strong. As the weight of the world bears down on me I turn to my Heavenly Father for comfort. I know Heavenly Father will guide us through anything but the key is we need His help. I know he will never leave me and he will always comfort me through my struggles. I always want to live my life following Christ. My testimony is so important to me! I'm so grateful for a strong family and wonderful friends. I love knowing that I have divine guidance throughout my life. God knows us all personally and loves each of us! I wouldn't be the same without my faith, and I'm so grateful! Deciding to serve a mission was one of the best, but hardest decisions I've ever made. With Heavenly Father's help I now know that serving a mission was right for me and I know he provided the way for me to serve. I'm so grateful my twin sister served a mission as well. I was called as an English speaking missionary but then had the remarkable opportunity to learn the S'gaw Karen language and teach refugees originally from Burma/Myanmar who lived in refugee camps in Thailand and were relocated to other states and countries. These amazing people changed my life! They live so simply with few belongings and are so compassionate and focused on the most important things: their lives, their family, faith, and their God. I learned so much! I love sharing the gospel and this is a testimony to me that God is providing a way to bring this message to all people. I sincerely recognize the beautiful world we have been given and the amazing life I have! I love journaling and blogging and keeping a record for myself and someday for my posterity. I love life and this earth but I know there is so much more in store for us from our Heavenly Father and His remarkable plan for His children.

How I live my faith

I attend a university where I am able to study and focus on my faith every day. I realize the importance of keeping my testimony strong by regaining it every single day of my life through prayer, scripture study, and living as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I actively strive to be an example and look for those around me that I can serve and share some light. I want to live in such a way that those who know me will want to love what I love, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ! The Gospel of Jesus Christ fills my heart with happiness!
