Hi I'm Riley Reynolds

I grew up in Utah. I work with individuals with disabilities every day. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Riley. I have lived in Utah all my life and I love it. I have nine people in my family. I have five brothers and only one sister. I played lacrosse all through high school but there isn't a sport that I dont love. For my job, I work with individuals with disabilities every day. They are so awesome and always have a warm spirit about them. I am also going to college to get a degree in finance.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in ther church all my life. I used to just believe whatever my parents said until I hit my teenage years and the stuff that my parents were saying didn't make a whole lot of sense. Then in one of my sunday school lesson, we read in the Book of Mormon in Moroni 10: 3-5, which says that if you need to know if the church is true, then you should pray about it. So after reading in the book for that night, I got on my knees and prayed to my Father in Heaven to see if the things that Ihad been taught were indeed true. My answer was unmistakable. I felt a warm confirming feeling that the church was indeed true and that God really does love me. Now whenever I question my beliefs, I either remember that expierence or I simply pray again. Eveytime I pray I receive the same answer that the church is true.

How I live my faith

My calling right now is to teach eleven and twelve year old kids about the gospel. My calling is really to teach them but in reality they have taught me so much more. It is a class of about ten kids. They all have testimonies that are so solid and based on Jesus Christ. I love teaching this class. My other calling is to be a home teacher. My companion is one of my best friends who I have grown up with for most of my life. Because we know eachother so well, we teach effectivily together. We can tell when one of us is getting stuck and the other one will take over. I say that it is us teachingbut in reality it is the Spirit of the Lord that teaches. We are just there to say the things that the Spirit tells us to say.
