Hi I'm Karee

I am a sister, an auntie, a student, a runner, and an aspiring author. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am second oldest of a family of seven children. Two years ago I became an auntie and I love playing with my nephew. I love my family! I am an junior studying English and family life at BYU. I like to write, run, blog, and bake sweets for others. I am currently working on publishing my first book about self-worth and confidence. I love to serve others and make them smile. I hope to live in a way that I can help those around me feel loved and needed. A part of my heart will always be with the people of Boston, Massachusetts where I served as a missionary for the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon. I know that it is another testament of Jesus Christ and that it contains the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that God speaks through modern prophets and that those men are called of God. I know that I am a child of God and that Jesus atoned for all sins so that we can live with God again. I have felt the peace and the joy that comes from my knowledge.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to work as a missionary! Everyday I get to wake up and put on a black name tag that says who I am and who I am a representative of, Jesus Christ. I am not on a mission because "it's what mormons do," or "because my parents expect me to be here." I am a missionary because I believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all of my heart. I live my faith by trying to live, love and serve as He would. I know that if Christ were here He would be trying to bring as many people to the Gospel, so that is what I am going to try to do. I am here to share with others the thing that brings most happiness in my life, The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Karee
The Book of Mormon is another testiment Jesus Christ. It contains the ancient writings of prophets who wrote the inspired words for us. When we read the Book of Mormon we can better understand what God wants for us and what we need to be doing to be coming closer to Christ. Through reading this book one exercises faith and a desire to know the truth. We believe that God still speaks to His people and He will answer the sincere prayers of those acting in faith.
