Hi I'm Edward

I am an Alaska Native, I love this church, I love everyone I meet, and I'm a willing and devoted Mormon.

About Me

I am Edward. I have been a member since September 27, 2011. I love this church, I know this is the true church of Christ. I hope to raise a family in the future, and meet them in the kingdom of our Father. I am currently in High School and on course to graduate. Some where after I graduate, I am hoping to go on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was visiting with the missionaries before I decided to make this decision. The lesson ended with a prayer. We knelt during the prayer, and to invite the spirit in, we decided to take turns praying. When it came to me to say a prayer to Heavenly Father, I said it with a desirous heart to know if this really is true. After I ended the prayer, I got this feeling of pure happiness, the happiest I've ever felt. The missionaries noticed me smiling unusually. They knew I felt the spirit. The spirit told me that this is the truth. About a month later, I decided to get baptized. I do not regret one bit of it.

How I live my faith

I love to attend church. I bless the sacrament every Sunday. I am a Priest, and the only active priest in our branch. We have a small branch of a usual 50 people. Every fast Sunday, I bear my testimony of the church, the restoration of the gospel. I am with the missionaries constantly helping them, teaching with them, and have fun with them. I love the missionaries very very much. In our Young Mens program has only two young men that are active. We participate in service projects and we are happy to give service to do so, we also have combined activities with the young women. It is very fun.
