Hi I'm Elizabeth

I was born and raised California. I am a nursing student, and I plan to be a Family Nurse Practitioner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to dirt bike and go to the beach. I also love to eat anything and everything. I currently attend BYU college in Provo, UT. I lived in Taiwan for 18 months serving a mission for my church. Before my mission, I went to Ecuador with my mom to work in the orphanages with the OSSO foundation. I have always loved to serve others. I find that when I serve others, I have more empathy for people in hard situations and I can be more understanding in the relationships in my own life.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger, I had a few times where I asked myself, "Why do I go to church? Do I really believe this?" And so, I followed the advice in the Book of Mormon: pray about it, and ask God if these things are true. And I did. I have never felt so much love, and I knew that the Book of Mormon was the word of God, and that this is the Church of Jesus Christ, reorganized on the Earth today. Since that time, I continue to keep the commandments and I have seen so many blessings in my life because of it. I feel that God has answered my prayers and guided my life up to this point. It is an amazing feeling to know that the most perfect, divine being in the universe cares about me, personally. I know this church is true.

How I live my faith

My current responsibility in my congregation is to visit two sisters every month. I have the opportunity to be their friend and help them whenever they want help with something. It helps build our friendship! They always know that they have someone to call.
