Hi I'm Samuel

I am LDS and happy to be so.

About Me

I am a huge fan of music. I listen to a wide range of music from numerous genres of rock to hip hop and jazz to classical to 8 bit and dub step to metal to Ska to Celtic punk to a wide range of instrumentals and the occasional Motab of course. There is much to learn through expressing how you feel. I like to support and learn from the life stories that people who share their experiences that I have not had. Why make a mistake when you can learn the lesson through another person willing to teach? I am a firm believer that everyone needs direction and hope in life to find lasting happiness. There is a purpose in life and this life is about finding it. God exists and plays a big role in who I am. I like to work hard, volunteer, work out, cook, eat, and listen. People like to talk and I like to look for greater understanding in helping others with their needs.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of the LDS church everyday because it is the one church where i feel my Heavenly Father's presence confirm to me that i am in the right place and strengthens my disires to serve Him. Mormons stand apart from all other walks of life and it's for the better. After reading the Book of Mormon there was no way for me to deny what i felt and how this truth still burns brightly on my soul.

How I live my faith

I make myself available to help others with what they may need, I listen and try to give good counsel on a personal basis. I also try to share my talents and time to bettering my surroundings and those that surround me. There is much to learn and grow from in serving others. I have found no greater joy then to help someone that I care about with a labor or service they may need. Christ told us to love one another and to love them as ourselves. I try to implement this in my life by learning to love others by this service. I feel that there is much to discover in the scriptures. I have found profound insight in the book of Proverbs in the Old Testament. Reading something and thoroughly thinking it out brings enlightenment and confirmation from the Holy Ghost. "And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." (Moroni 10:5) The Book of Mormon provides a second witness of what the Bible testifies to be true; that Jesus is the Christ, our Savoir, our Redeemer and the Son of God. I feel that the Scriptures teach us to become better today then we were yesterday and yet better tomorrow then we are today. I have found no greater way to do this then to follow the teachings of the LDS Prophets that God has sent to this Earth to teach us. Weather they lived thousands of years ago or are alive today they teach God's eternal truths. God is unchanging and His work through Prophets is as well.
