Hi I'm Kade Nordfors

I'm a sports addict! I hope to live my life in the air. I can enjoy anything even mildly entertaining. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Honolulu, Hawai'i and then shortly thereafter moved to Bountiful, Utah where I was raised. I've played sports, namely soccer, since I can remember. It's a different world when you get into a sport and it's something that I'd never change for anything, as long as I have a say in it. I'm the youngest child by 12 years and have 3 older brothers and 1 older sister. So I pretty much had 4 dads and 2 moms while I was growing up! I've been an unlce since I was 3 years old. My family and my friends mean everything to me. I don't know where I would be without them! I think that I'm an easy person to get along with, but a lot of people say that about themselves so probably not! Oh well! I try to always be nice and be there for everyone, no matter what is going on in my own life. People are amazing, and I love all of them!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but never really had a full testimony until recently. The past year has definitely had its ups and downs but there has alway been one constant thing, and that is probably the only constant thing in this life, and that's the gospel of Jesus Christ. With some things that I have done the past year, I have felt so uncomfortable and so distant from the spirit. I didn't like where I was at all. The time was coming on deciding whether or not I was going to serve a mission or not. With many examples that were around me, I decided that I needed to find out if it was right for me or not. So through thought and prayer I knew that this was His true church and that I definitely should serve a mission to share it with as many people as I could. I know that the church is true and that this is His church, Christs church, and there is no other. He died for me and took upon my sins so that I could live with our father again one day. Joseph Smith is a true prophet, and I know that he restored this gospel and the priesthood keys back onto this Earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it goes hand-in-hand with the Bible. One is not complete without the other. They compliment each other so well. Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God as well as those who came before him. I am so blessed with all that I have and could never thank our Father enough. I love this gospel and I have no idea where I would be without it.

How I live my faith

I haven't always lived the faith that I have. There have been times when I have not lived according to the teachings of the church, and the way I felt while I wasn't was empty. Since I have realized the emptiness that I had while not living the faith, I have changed and it feels as though I have a new sense of direction for my life. I now try to live every aspect that the gospel teaches as well as accepting callings in the church. I'm currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Scotland/Ireland Mission. After I return home, I will still continue to accept the callings in the church I receive and by telling EVERYONE I come into contact with about the church!
