Hi I'm Bronwyn

I'm a business student, I've lived in France, and I hope to be a mother someday. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently studying business. I'm good at math, and want to go into economics. I love to sing and dance, although I don't do either well. I love clothing and fashion, and beautifying my environment. I enjoy traveling, especially with my husband. We've been trying to have a baby for almost five years now. It's been a journey, but it has changed us into the people we need to be for each other.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined this church when I was 17. I was raised agnostic, and felt superior to the "sheep" who attended church from a young age. When I was 15, I got into some trouble with friends that left me grounded for about 6 months. One of the only things I was allowed out of the house to do was go to church with friends. My parents wanted me to get a better group of friends, so I of course started attending every Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, etc. activity that I could find. During this time, I came to know that Jesus was the greatest example of love there has ever been, and also that He was and is a real person. I ended up joining the Baptist church, because I had more friends who went there than other churches. I knew my journey wasn't done though. When my parents got divorced, I felt that my life was turning upside down. I had never imagined that even being a possibility. I went to my best friend, who was a Mormon, and she suggested that I receive a blessing of comfort from the missionaries. During this, the missionaries placed their hands upon my head, and gave me a blessing from the Lord. I knew then that Jesus is real, Heavenly Father is real, and that they love me. From that point on, not only was I loved, but every fundamental belief I had about loving everyone, and everyone deserving to be loved was encompassed in this Gospel. I felt like I was home.

How I live my faith

I teach a youth class on Sundays for 9-10 year olds. I love this assignment. These kids are so much smarter than they get credit for, and I just want to take them all home with me. I love going to activities with the whole church that we have where everyone from so many different situations comes, and we can all relate on a fundamental level. I love belonging there. There are so many programs within this church that are just built to strengthen and uplift every individual member, and their families. I know I love when the women all get together once a month, and just get to be women. It's truly a support network that is always there for you.
