Hi I'm Hannah Rose

I'm a writer, an aspiring singer, a friend, a daughter, and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19. I love writing. I have three books that are currently being proccessed to be published and two books that are still being written. I got my GED. My favorite holiday is Christmas; not because i like getting presents (though that isn't too bad) but because of the peace and the feeling I get when I give people things. I love music. I love reading!

Why I am a Mormon

At first it was because my family was. But when I turned 18 and was faced with the opportunity to choose, I did. I stopped going and realized the terrible feeling I had when I didn't go. Now I go because I want to. I love the feeling of family in my ward. I love the plan of salvation and the opportunity I have to repent for my sins. My favorite scriptures: "...Men are that they might have joy." "There must needs be opposition in all things..." If we didn't know pain, we wouldn't know happiness.

How I live my faith

I sing in the choir and have volunteered thru the church to tutor a little kid at an elementary school (reading). I'm currently working on m Young Women's medalion (Like boy scouts-just not as important) for the second time.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Hannah Rose
The Apostle Paul taught that “neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 11:11 Without man we could have no women. Adam would now have given his rib, and there would be no women. Without women, there would be no man. Women give life to man (and women for that matter). Women have the power to bring life into the world with the help of man. In the church, Men have the responsability of preisthood, Women are in charge of the spiritual welfare of the future generation. Show more Show less
