Hi I'm Kiersten

California native studying Business at BYU. I want to make a difference. Outdoor enthusiast. Harley lover. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I've grown up the third oldest of nine children in Northern California. I was a cheerleader for 6 years and taught gymnastics all through High School until I moved to Utah to attend BYU. I am currently in the Business Management program and am excited to use my education to make a difference by working for a social venture company that finds solutions to some of the world's problems. To put myself through college I work at the Harley-Davidson dealership, which has been such an amazing experience and I love being part of the Harley family no matter how much it may surprises others. I am an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking and rock climbing and exploring new places and I have dreams of traveling all over the world someday. I am currently putting all of these things on hold as I serve an 18 month mission for the Lord in Washington DC.

Why I am a Mormon

In my heart I have always known it was the truth but after reading the Book of Mormon, attending church, and praying with real intent to know if these things are true, I have no doubt in my mind. I have had many trials and hardships in my life, as I know we all have had and had moments where life felt too hard and I did not think I was strong enough to get through it. But what I do know is that I am never alone. My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are with me every second and constantly comforting me and lifting me so I can get through anything. The gospel has given me such hope and joy and knowing who I am, where I came from, and where I am going is such a blessing in this confusing world.

How I live my faith

Once we understand the greatness of God's love for us, we have more love in our hearts to help others. I have enjoyed service opportunities and experiences where I can make a difference in someone else's life. In order to further help others to know of God's love for them and experience the happiness and joy the gospel can provide, I am leaving to serve a mission in the Washington DC North mission. I know that serving a mission and bringing others unto Christ is a way for me to show God how grateful I am for everything he has done for me because I will be sharing his message and his love with his other children.
