Hi I'm Megan

I'm a dancer. I'm a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love dancing. I have always taken dance classes for as long as I can remember, and in High School I did cheerleading where we danced a lot as well. I attended school at BYU-Idaho and I loved it! My favorite thing in the world is skiing. It's always been my dream job to be a ski instructor. I love being in the mountains. I love being in nature. I love hiking. I love life. Now I'm a missionary teaching the gospel so other people can experience the happiness that I have in my life because of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it makes me happy. The church teaches me how to live my life so that I can be happy. This gospel is a message of happiness and peace. I know that Heavenly Father loves me. I know that he hears and answers my prayers. I know that when I do my best to keep the commandments and live a Christ-like life I am happier. I know that when I make mistakes, I can be forgiven and get back on my feet. It's never to late to come back. I feel so blessed and grateful to have this church in my life.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm a missionary! And I love it! For the next 18 months I'm dedicating every minute of my life to the Lord. I wake up, study the gospel, and then for the rest of the day I teach and invite people to come unto Christ and do service! I attend church every Sunday and I participate in church activities and meetings. Before I became a missionary, I tried really hard to always read my Book of Mormon every day, say prayers often and always keep the Holy Ghost with me by being in the right place at the right time.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

I choose not to drink or partake of things that can harm my body because 1) I respect my body. I want to have complete control of myself and my actions and 2) I don't use tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea or illegal drugs because I believe that it brings unhappiness. Drinking and drugs causes so many problems in families and marriages. I don't want any of those problems and heartbreak that comes with that. Show more Show less
