Hi I'm Amy Woodland

I LOVE the outdoors and anything country! I LOVE being a missionary! I LOVE being a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Murray, Utah and spent a year in Rexburg, Idaho going to school at Byu-I. I love anything and everything outdoors! I love to hike, camp, fish, hunt, go off roading, go four-wheeling, ride horses, and basically everything else! I have played soccer, volleyball and lacrosse growing up. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the New Jersey Morristown Mission and I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was born into this gospel to an amazing family! I have always known that this gospel is true, but it wasn't until my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer that I truly saw the Lord's hand in my life and in my family's life. It was a really scary and depressing time when we found out that she had cancer. I know that without the Lord's help, prayers of friends and family, and the priesthood, my mom would not still be here right now. My mom is my best friend and I feel so blessed that the Lord helped her and our family overcome this trial. I know that trials are trying and that we don't want to go through them, but they truly do help us grow and become the people we need to become. I am so grateful that I get to live with my family for eternity. I couldn't ask for a greater blessing than that! The gospel has truly changed my life forever and I am so grateful for that! I know that it is only through the atonement of Jesus Christ that we can obtain eternal salvation. I don't know about you, but I sure want to live with Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and my family for eternity! And this is why I am on a mission. To help bring others unto Jesus Christ so they too, can live with Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and their families forever! I love being a disciple of Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

I have been given the opportunity to serve in many different aspects of my life. I love to serve! I have been able to help with a Special Needs Mutual for about 2 years, I volunteered for the National MS Society, and I have had the chance to help at food banks and soup kitchens over the years. Right now, I have the opportunity to serve 24/7 on a mission! I love seeing how the gospel can change peoples lives for the better! I get the privilege to have a front row seat to the greatest miracle, which is seeing the atonement of Jesus Christ effect the lives of the people I love!
