Hi I'm Jenna

I grew up in America. I am a daughter of God. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in good ol' Nevada! I am the third of 4 sisters and its the greatest. I love that I can be with my best friends FOREVER! My religion, and family are the most important things to me. I will soon be serving a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which I know will change my life in so many ways for the better.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a strong Latter Day Saint family. At the age of 8, I chose for myself to be baptized. Even being that young I knew that there was something special about this church. My family and friends were strong in the gospel, so growing up I was always surronded by it. By seeing the faith of my loved ones it helped set the foundation of my life. Some people fall away or have their doubts about the gospel, but to me I've always known that this church is true. I've been through hard times just as everyone has but it was during my struggles when I really grew close to my Heavenly Father. During my trails, I had to put my trust in the Lord because that is the only way to find peace of mind and true happiness. I know that my Father lives. I believe that Jesus is his only begotten son. I know that through the atonement and love of Christ, we can all return to our Father in Heaven. All we have to do is trust in his word and believe that he can save us.

How I live my faith

Many of my callings in the church have, in one way or another, allowed me to be a teacher. To some, callings that deal with standing in front of a crowd and teaching a lesson can be quite frightening. For me it is the complete opposite. When I stand in front of a group, sharing a lesson about the gospel a Christ is one of my favorite things. I love having the opportuntiy to be able to share my love and knowledge of the gospel, and in return others do the same for me. While I teach others, I learn new things as well. In the book of Doctrine and Covenants 19:23, Christ said,"Learn of me, and listen to my words..." The more I teach of Christ, the more I learn of him.
