Hi I'm Chase

I'm old school. I'm a musician. I'm a predestined rock star and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm pretty standard but crazy. I love being around people in general and hanging out with my family and friends. I'm also pretty into music. I eat drink and breathe blues, soul, and rock n' roll. I tend to absorb myself in music constantly, whether it be playing, singing, writing, recording, or listening. Gonna make it big someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because there is nothing else in this life that has brought me closer to God or my family than this church. It has given me a HUGE sense of direction and has ultimately helped me to realize who I am and where I am going not only in the next stage of life, but also here on earth. Being Mormon also helps me want to be a better person, which goes back to the promise made at baptism which is basically to do your best to follow Jesus for the rest of your life. I am Mormon because it makes me want to try, learn, progress, and help others. The church is not restricting, it is liberating. In the words of Chirst Himself, "the truth will make you free". I feel free because I am a member of this church. I am who I am because if it and I will never leave it.

How I live my faith

I love helping people. There is so much you can do for another person, whether it be spiritually or temporally. That is really what Christ did, and if we are all trying to be like Christ shouldn't we be helping out our neighbors and friends? I don't think a whole lot of people realize how much of an impact a person can have on somebody else. They may be a stranger to you, but once you do something for them you are their friend. That is how I've always lived my faith I guess. I've realized that there are a lot of bad things happening in this world. Hate, racism, and war continue to thrive in a modern-day society. However, they all derive from people just not getting along. It is possible that they all do "just get along", but the ultimate way is by living the gospel of Jesus Christ and loving your neighbor. I could say I live my faith by trying my best to do that, but I'm not perfect. At the least, I can say I live my faith by just caring, and putting the other guy first. Nuff said.
