Hi I'm Kellie Julander

I think all life is beautiful, each day is a gift and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love the earth. The moon, rain, changing leaves, big fluffy clouds and cherry blossom trees are beautiful to me! I'm graduating Brigham Young University in Environmental Science and then marrying my favorite person, Johnny. I can't wait to have a family of my own and grow with them. I live for adventures and for peace with the people I love the most. The gospel means everything to me. I am who I am because of it, because of my Savior, Jesus Christ. It is the foundation in my life and in my family. My life has changed since serving a full time mission in Tokyo, Japan. I loved wearing Christ's name on my name tag close to my heart. Each day was full of love and service toward God and toward His children. Since then I try every day to be a disciple of Christ and to refine my life through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this is the true church of Jesus Christ restored on this earth. I'm happy and I know that the joy I feel every day comes from knowing that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father who loves me and knows me personally. Being a Mormon gives me peace because everything..makes sense. There is clarity and purpose in my life because I know who I am, where I came from, my purpose on earth and where I will go after this life. All answers to life's hard and weird questions can be found in The Book of Mormon and I know it's true! I know that with all of my heart. I'm a Mormon because I know that families can be together for eternity through following the Gospel of Jesus Christ-faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. This is a church of eternal happiness and even when things aren't happy at the moment I know they will be if we trust in the Lord. Happiness is a choice.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through love. I know that we are all children of our Heavenly Father who loves each of us equally so I do my best to treat them the way I know He would want me to treat them. I love the Book of Mormon and I read it every day and then I do my best to follow all the advice and council given in it. I think life is about change and progress..I live my faith by trying to make each day a little better and to live a little more like our Savior. The Prophet of the church, President Thomas S. Monson said "To find real happiness we must seek for it in a focus outside ourselves." I know this gospel is true and know that by sharing what I know is true and following the example of our Savior..life becomes what it needs to become.
