Hi I'm Kara

I have 4 brothers, 1 sister, 1 step-brother, and 1 step-sister. I am a Mormon and so proud of it!

About Me

I love to snowboard, travel, wakeboard, watch basketball and play occasionally, and attempt to play the piano. I am a senior in college studying Hotel Management. I have a large, loud, and fun family. I am now currently preparing to serve a full-time mission in Santiago, Chile where I will preach the gospel in Spanish :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this gospel. It makes me so happy and brightens my days. I have had my struggles and have felt the difference of not having the Holy Ghost with me. It is a significant difference and I do not want to go without the Holy Ghost with me again. It is such a great feeling to have the spirit with me to guide me, protect me, and comfort me always. I love studying the scriptures and constantly learning. I want everyone to have the chance to feel this amazing feeling that I feel as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am my institute class president and love attending institute. I enjoy doing my visiting teaching and getting to know other girls in my ward.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Kara
We are asked to donate 10% of our income to the Church because it helps the work of the Church. It is also a test of faith. We are able to earn our money thankfully to our Heavenly Father. It is His money and the least we could donate to show our gratitude for His blessings. It also gives us many more opportunities to receive even more blessings. Show more Show less
