Hi I'm Gary Pulsipher

I grew up in San Diego and I'm a Mormon because it gives me a path to follow based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I have been married to my beautiful wife Linda for 30 years. We have 6 wonderful children that all enjoy being together and love each other. I went to school for 10 years after high school to become a dentist and then specialized in orthodontics. I love what I do professionally, and find the results very positive and gratifying. When not at work, I love the beach and all water sports. A day at the beach with my family is a great day. I enjoy wake boarding and snowboarding and work out often to try and stay in shape to allow me to stay active in these sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony that there is a loving Heavenly Father that cares about and knows each one of us personally. He had so much love for each of his children that he was willing to send his only begotten Son to be a personal Savior for each and every one of us that have come to this earth. This knowledge has been revealed to us in these last days by a modern day Prophet Joseph Smith. He too was called of God to bless God's children here on the earth to let each of us know the Father's will in our day. Through the Prophet Joseph, the Book of Mormon was translated for each of us as a book of scripture to help us understand our purpose here on the earth. When the Bible and Book of Mormon are joined, our purpose becomes much clearer and helps us in difficult times. Since the restoration of the gospel in the latter-days, there has been a prophet here on the earth to receive revelation to help guide God's children. I testify that these things are true and each of us can come to know their truthfulness by the power of the Holy Ghost. This knowledge of truth brings great comfort to my family and I in a world that seems to have lost its way. I challenge each of you to put these revealed truths to the test by asking God if they are true, and He will let you know by the feelings that will come to you as you ask and ponder these things. I say these things in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith on a daily basis by living by the moto to "Do something good in the world everyday and do it with a smile!" There is such a need for service in the world and so many people that are in need. Many will change their lives for the better, because some one in the world took the time to care about them just for a brief moment.
