Hi I'm Victoria

I am a daughter, sister, friend, student, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am number 5 of 9 children, I am a full time student , I love the outdoors, and I enjoy playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and grew up with an active family. Praying together as a family and reading the Book of Mormon as a family has always been an important, regular practice in my home. My family often spends time in the outdoors, hiking and camping. I realized one day while hiking in the midst of the Lord's creations, that I know the Church of Jesus Christ is true. I know that the Lord is my Heavenly Father and that he is aware of me. How could the earth be this beautiful without a divine hand designing it. Whenever I am out in nature I cannot help but think about how blessed I am to have the knowledge of the gospel. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. It is the only true church on the earth. It is lead by President Thomas S. Monson and through him we can receive guidance from our Heavenly Father. I know that he is our prophet. I know that through the gospel families can be together forever, it doesn't end at death. This life is but a short part of our eternal plan. I have felt the spirit bare truth in my heart and in my mind.

How I live my faith

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints we have the wonderful opportunity of serving one another on a daily basis. I love the principle of service because we are able to follow the example of our Savior and it never fails to bless my life as I strive to forget about myself and think of others. Being a Latter-day Saint isn't just a Sunday faith, it's an ALL day everyday kind of faith! For me it takes a desire to continually repent, remember the promises I made at baptism, be worthy to have the Holy Ghost in my life and to listen to it. Through this, I find joy in the journey. I've learned that by keeping the commandments, I make wiser choices in life that help me to see my trials as opportunities of growth and I am becoming who my Heavenly Father wants me to become. I am a daughter of God and I have a purpose here on earth. Heavenly Father has given me so much and I am so grateful.
