Hi I'm Nate

I am a law enforcement agent, tech nerd, a husband and a father of two, as well as a convert. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a law enforcement officer for a state law enforcement agency. I am one of the first LEO's in my state to be hearing impaired. I wear hearing aids, so it does not affect doing my job. I enjoy a few hobbies, such as sports and flying airplanes. One day, I would love to put my family in an airplane and travel the country, by flying from state to state. Additionally, I enjoy anything tech related. One can find me taking apart computers and/or other devices. I enjoy assisting other people with anything tech related, such as fixing computers. I really enjoy spending time with my wife and kids. I have a daughter and a son, and they keep us on our toes. At times, I wish I did not have to work, so I can stay home with the family.

Why I am a Mormon

When I met my wife, I learned that she was a Mormon. She taught me a lot about the Church. Keep in mind, I was raised a Catholic and a Methodist. I met with Mormon missionaries, and it all made sense. The other religions I was in seemed to have gaps, or areas, that didn't make any sense or I questioned. Before I was baptized, I spent a lot a time with the missionaries. During the time with the missionaries, I made a decision to be baptized. I felt like I was truly able to feel the spirit with me. It felt right and perfect. Since I was baptized in the Church, I have been a happy and joyful life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to help others as much as I can. At times, I teach children in my church about being a good Mormon. Additionally, I live my life trying to be the best person as I can be. I try to set a good example to my non-Mormon family members, by showing them that I can live by the teachings of the church. Additionally, I make sure our little family is spending time with each other, as well as learning from the Gospel and Book of Mormon. We pray together everyday and every night. I do my best to make sure the Jesus Christ is involved in every aspect of my life.
