Hi I'm Connor

Born and raised in Arizona, currently serving a mission in the wonderful state of Idaho. I'm a Mormon missionary.

About Me

I absolutely love music. There's a spirit that comes along with it that just doesn't come with anything else, and the best music caries the sweetest message, that Jesus is the Christ, and that the world is a wonderful gift that we have received from God. And now I get to tell others about this message as a missionary! I haven't been much of a people person, but serving the Lord has taught me to love complete strangers and have a desire for them to feel the same things that I have felt, that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet ordained of God, and that through Jesus Christ is the only way we will return to our Father in Heaven, who loves us despite the many mistakes that we mortals make.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church. My family is descended from the first pioneers that crossed the American continent to settle the West late in the 19th century. Although I've been around the church my whole life, I still had to find out for myself if being a Mormon was the right way to go. I have prayed, and I feel that this is the path that God wants me to walk.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by what I'm doing right now, preaching the gospel! I invite anyone who's reading this page to listen and read the testimonies of the members here on Mormon.org.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Connor
First of all, we believe in Jesus Christ, who suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for our sins and then died on the cross in order that we might be able to return to live with our Heavenly Father. While he lived, He gave His disciples priesthood authority, which allowed them to perform miracles, give blessings, and officiate in sacred ordinances. Second, we believe that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, although he is not someone we worship. Through Joseph Smith, Christ restored His church and everything else that was lost after He and His disciples were killed. He also brought forth the Book of Mormon, a volume of scripture just as vital as the Bible, that contains the word of God, and lessons that we all need to learn through its accounts of prophets and anti-christs, faithful leaders and vicious tyrants, times of little and times of plenty, times of peace and times of war.
