Hi I'm Graham Jessee

I'm a Grateful Husband, an Honored Father of 5, a Yankee Fan, an eternal "Kid" and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up on the East Coast but have lived in eight different states and visit 41 others. I served a mission in Taiwan and have had the pleasure of traveling to 16 different countries. I am a graduate of The U of U, (GO UTES!) but at the end of the day my heart belongs to the Great Northeast! I marvel at the complexities and admire the simplicities of life. I feel blessed to be living at such an amazing time in history with access, freedoms, and knowledge that no other generation has ever been able to experience. People intrigue me, nature amazes me, and the quest for truth inspires me. I will be forever thankful for having met my beloved wife of 20 years, being blessed with 5 healthy children, one of which is on a mission himself (Seoul South Korea), and to have never understood the value of "growing up". I am privileged to be friends with some exemplary people (Greg Moore) who mean a great deal to me, especially my Father BDJ. I am the oldest of 5 and am increasingly appreciative of my Mother's love and influence. It is fun to recognize my mom in my sisters, I admire my brother's talents, and love watching them be parents themselves. Clearly family and relationships are a driving force in my life. I Love Music, Sports, Art, Food, Yankees, Steelers, 76ers, Utes, Longboarding, Laughing, Charles Barkley, Facial Hair, NYC, and 4 Season Living! Finally, I consider my greatest achievement to be convincing the girl I met at RICKS to marry me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have put it's teachings to the test and have received personal revelation of it's truthfulness. I believe this Church to be the most fully and accurately restored Gospel like unto that of when Christ established his Church during his ministry upon the earth. I believe there are many good principles and teachings represented and communicated by other denominations. I have studied many of those and cherish the common beliefs that exist. I do however believe that the fullness of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's teachings are found within the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I feel blessed to have come to that understanding and it has been a true strength for me in my life. I invite all to seek after their own testimony and to put their current understandings of God's plan for you and his children to the test. If you whole heartedly seek an answer, you will receive it.

How I live my faith

I am a Christian who stands in amazement and awe of the Atonement. I am flawed, with many rough edges that I am in the midst of sanding. I truly believe this blessing of life is a temporary state where if we are wise, is used for continuous improvement. I seek to serve my family and members of my community. I am active in my church where I assist our Bishop with sacrament meeting preparation, youth lessons/ activities, adult Sunday school assignments, and wherever else I am needed. I believe in modern day miracles, the power of prayer, the value of seeking after Christ-like attributes, and the gift of repentance. I seek out the good in others, and hunger after truth in a world filled with personal opinion. I believe the authority and ability to act in the name of God exists on the earth today and is a great blessing to humanity. I live my faith through recognizing the one true source of happiness and do what I can to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
