Hi I'm Colton

I am a small town boy, I love family, I love friends, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love waterskiing, rock climbing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, snowboarding, hunting, and many other activities. Most of all I desire to enjoy these activities with my own children. If there was anything about me you needed to know it would be that I am a family man. All of the happiness I enjoy about family comes simply from the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

God desires that all of His children live His laws and prepare to return to His presence, enjoying all of the blessings that he now enjoys. Through restored priesthood of God we once again have "religion" here on the earth. We can be sealed to our family and if we are worthy all return to live with Him once more. There is no doctrine taught in heaven or on earth that brings more joy than that of families being together forever through Heavenly Fathers Plan! All of these teachings and the authority necessary to perform their saving ordinances are found within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Holy Ghost has convicted me of these truths so I must live in harmony with them so as to be able to return to my Heavenly Father. This is why I am a "mormon".

How I live my faith

It really is simple. The 1st thing I do in the morning is communicate with my Father in Heaven, then study from the scriptures. I can think of no substitute for putting God 1st each day than that of prayer and scripture study. Currently I help youth in their preparation for full-time missions for the church by teaching a Mission Preparation Class. I recently returned from my own full-time mission in Nebraska. While there I served many members of our faith and multitudes not of our faith by teaching them the Gospel of Jesus Christ as restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith.
