Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a mother of five. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to garden in containers. I keep about 60 planters going in my backyard each summer. In the winter I love to sew. I also enjoy cooking and playing the piano. I am a CPA with a Master's Degree in Taxation. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is true. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know that God lives. I know that Christ lives. I know that God knows my name and that He hears my prayers. I have struggled with a great many health issues, including a life threatening lung disease that left me with long term intermittent, but debilitating pain. Through all my struggles, medical or otherwise, I have known that God was with me, that He was aware of my pain and my struggles and has never left me alone. I know that the only way to true happiness is by obeying God's laws and being obedient to His commandments. I know that He loves me and He loves all his children. I know that through obedience to God's laws I can be with my family forever. I know that the only true peace that can be found in this life is through the gospel. This is why I am a Mormon. I promise you, this church is true.

How I live my faith

I teach gospel related songs to the younger children in our church. I love teaching the children to enjoy music. I love the songs I teach as they are usually simple expressions of our faith such as that each child is a child of God and that Heavenly Father loves them. I look forward to each Sunday when I get to teach these wonderful children these truths. I remember well the songs I learned as a little child and enjoy knowing that the children I teach will be able to keep these songs and the truths contained in them in their hearts their entire lives.
