Hi I'm Erik

I'm from Renton, Washington. I'm serving a mission in Sacramento California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Erik. I'm a missionary in the Sacramento Mission. Before my mission I took two years at a local community college in the grand old state of Washington and will be going to BYU-IDAHO afterward. I'm a gamer, I'm going into computer engineering as a major and I'm huge on following politics. I've got a number of sports hobbies including basketball, golf, and swimming. I love to travel and see new places. I'm a brain tumor survivor, I love learning new things, and I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

Over the years I've grown up as a member of the church and while I've also grown up around other religions and researched them, this church feels the most complete to me and has true authority from God. I've seen so many blesssings in my life and in the lives of others and the support I've had in hard times has helped me more than I can describe. I know the church is true and the gospel is real. I know that it makes people strong and families stronger.

How I live my faith

I've been a lifelong member of the church and I'm learning more every day as I study the scriptures. I've read through all the standard works I know the gospel's true. I've been doing my best to follow the many great examples I've seen by serving a full-time mission and sharing what I believe. I've got a testimony of Jesus Christ and I know that the gospel guides my life.
