Hi I'm Louise

I'm a a wife, a mother, a QB for a semi pro womens tackle football team....and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was borned and raised in AZ. I participated in sports, studied the piano, violin and sang in school choirs. One of my goals was to play college athletics. I got that opportunity at Brigham Young University, in softball. I graduated with a HS teaching degree, and taught school for 5 years. Two of the most important choices of my life, was to serve a LDS mission, and go on a Study Abroad for 6 mths. The next most important choice, was to marry the man of my dreams, in the Arizona Temple. We were able to have 3 great kids, who also choose to follow the teachings of the Savior. We love to travel, and see new things, and experience different cultures. I love to play the piano, sing, and be in the outdoors. One of my childhood dreams was to be the QB on a tackle football team. It was my first great sports passion, but it wasn't available to girls. All my life, I found ways to play pickup games, and flag football. Then finally, the sport became available in the state of Utah. I have played this great sport for last 8 years on a semi pro level. My team, the Utah Falconz, has won a National Championship, and has lost just 3 times in 6 years. My whole family becomes a football family, on Saturdays in the Spring time. I have always believed that dreams do come true, when you work and believe, and have faith in the process. I'm a firm believer in the words, "CARPE DIEM".....Seize the Day!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member, but gained an even stronger testimony when I got the chance to serve a mission. in Colorado and Kansas. I saw first hand and up close, how those teachings can change lives....so quickly. I love how living the teachings of the Savior and following his example, bring happiness to myself and those around me. I have a strong, willing heart and personality. So I'm grateful as a wife and mother, for the many opportunities for leadership, growth, and service, that being a member of the LDS church provides me. I would be truly lost without it. I believe Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us, and when we trust in him, and ask with with a sincere heart, he will guide us. I know this church provides the answers to life's toughest questions, and thats a feeling I truly enjoy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by knowing its OK, and even cool to be different and go against what the world and society deems is OK. Its easy to love and enjoy those similar to myself, but what the gospel teaches, is to learn to appreciate and love the good that each person can bring to life....while still striving to follow Gods laws for myself. I believe we are all God's Children, yet each is so unique. I often have opportunities to teach youth, and adults alike. I also help organize events, and carry them out. As the QB of the football team I play for, I have enjoyed being a Mormon on a team that encompasses such a diverse group of women and coaches. I have opportunities to be an influence in the community and those around me. I'm committed to being an example of goodness, and someone my Family and Heavenly Father would be proud of. As a wife, mother, and community member...I realize I have many eyes watching.
