Hi I'm Capri

I grew up in Mapleton Utah. I'm a missionary in California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love the work I get to do for the Lord each day, serving His sons and daughters is the best thing I could be doing right now. I was called to serve in the California San Fernando Mission Spanish speaking. I have been out for almost 11 months and I have loved it so much! I've learned Spanish is those short months and continue to learn more Spanish. Working each day with new people each day has been such a blessing for me in so many ways! I grew up in Utah, I have 9 siblings and we all get a long really well. I like playing sports and games. I really enjoy playing outside and being around animals. My favorite animals are horses and dogs. I really love riding horses and playing with dogs so much! I loves spending time with my family, I am really blessed to be part of such a great family! I'm more blessed to share the Gospel to those who don't have it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I grew up in Utah and have 9 brothers and sisters. We are all strong in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Even though I grew up a Mormon, I had to find my own testimony and learn why I wanted to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Just saying "I'm a Mormon" was not enough, I needed to know for myself why I wanted to be a Mormon. It took me some time to gain my own testimony, it was not easy, but it was so worth it. I am so grateful for being persistent in pushing through the discouraging thoughts Satan would try to throw at me. To first gain a strong testimony I had to first know who I was. I know I am a daughter of a King. I know I am a very special daughter of Heavenly Father who loves me so much. To the world I am not much, but to Heavenly Father I know I am more than I can fathom. I know Jesus Christ is my older brother, and I know His love for me is so great. His example of what love is is what I try to live my life by. I try hard to live and love as He did when he was upon the earth. Each day I find different things that make me say "This Church is so TRUE!" I really mean that phrase when I say it! I honestly see different things daily that make me say that and it just makes my testimony grow bigger. I know who I am and where I am going. I know I have been blessed with an amazing family and wonderful friends to help me get where I am going. I know we have a true Prophet here upon the earth who guides and directs us as we need direction. I know I am blessed to be able to attend our Temple, for it is the House of God. It is a Holy place where I can go find peace and comfort when the world is a storm. I am so proud to be a member of this Church. I am not ashamed to say "I am a Mormon" because I know what I believe to be true and I try to live it each and every day.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary. Coming on a mission has been the best decision I have ever made! I have been able to learn Spanish, meet new people, teach, be taught, and just learn how to be a better person as I help others come closer to Christ. Being a missionary means that I leave my family for a short time so I can help others be with their family forever. This calling really is a sacred calling. I love working for the Lord and helping His children. So many need someone to just reach out to them, and I'm out here to help those who need a little more know how to draw closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. I am here to "Invite others to come unto Christ". That is what this life is all about, returning to live with our Savior Jesus Christ with our families. That was all made possible because Jesus Christ suffered for our imperfections and died for us. I have a message to share that the Church Christ established when he was here is back on the earth today and that we have a living Prophet named Thomas S. Monson. I know this church to be the one and only true church on the earth today!
