Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a wife, a stay at home mother of three little blessings, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a busy mom, I'm learning to juggle all of my responsibilities and stay in one piece. When I have time for myself I enjoy painting, playing the piano, and dabbling in new hobbies. We waited years for children to bless our home, and I feel so thankful to my Father in Heaven for how greatly He has blessed our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God loves ALL of His children so very, very deeply. His greatest desire is for us to return to live with Him. Because He wants us to come home, He will not command us to do anything we can't accomplish. The Mormon Church is unique in its teaching that God has made baptism, and thereby Salvation, available to all, even those who are already deceased. I believe that God wants us all to return to Him, not just a special few. The Mormon Church is also unique in its doctrine of eternal families. I know without a doubt that God intends for my family to be together beyond the grave. I believe that God has a special place in His heart for His daughters. He loves us so dearly, and this Church truly values women. We are seen as divine and precious with specific abilities and talents that are infinitely significant to our Father's Plan. I believe that our Father is so interested in us that he directs us through a living Prophet. He gives us direction relevant to our day in a time when it is desperately needed. I grew up in the Church, and as an adult I have received my own witness. This Church is true. God loves us more deeply than we can imagine. Jesus died that we might live again, and that witness has made all the difference.

How I live my faith

As a musician I often serve as a pianist, organist, or conductor in weekly meetings, but right now I am also serving as the secretary for our local children's program. Their testimonies are so pure and strong. Each week I feel uplifted by their sweet spirits. We are fortunate to live in a neighborhood with many young families. So much joy comes from serving and supporting these dear friends. After all, serving and loving our brothers and sisters is at the very heart of my faith.
