Hi I'm Jayson Kole Workman

I'm a pre-dental student. I'm a husband. And I'm a disciple of Christ in his latter-day Church.

About Me

After serving a mission in San Fernando, California, I quickly met the love of my life, Ashley Workman (Bennett). We have been married for under 2 years. We love to hike, watch movies, and play games together. While working as a CNA previously, I received some inspiration which has led me toward preparing to be a dentist. The lord has blessed me with everything that I have and even though things have never been perfect, He is my goal.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that what I read in the scriptures is true. When I read I feel my faith growing and my testimony growing. This church is a church of joy. What is in our religion is joy. We have set standard which keep us from harms way and out of situations that may not be appropriate. When you do what is right and you put yourself around people who believe what you do you will experience joy. I love being part of this church because I know it's true and it makes me a better person every day.

How I live my faith

Faith is a daily battle. Either my faith increases or it decreases every day. In the science community, it is often an honor to lose ones faith and just give into our broad man-discovered truths. I am a scientist who believes in the scientific method. I can develop spiritual questions "hypothesis". I can find experiments to test my hypothesis through ways that have been proven in the past and through ways that I discover. Then I can find evidence to support my hypothesis. My main hypothesis is that God is our Father and He loves us. The evidence is in the scriptures but more powerfully shown in my own life. As I observe, God has made his hand manifest to me and I have found mounting evidence of His love for me and all of His children. I serve as a 13 year old Sunday school teacher with my wife. It is a wonderful blessing to learn from them. Me and Ashley hope one day to have enough money to bless others lives and serve missions together. The gospel is the good news and we can share it through our day to day actions and words.
