Hi I'm Rachel

I am a wife, a mother and a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy working out, cake decorating, and trying new things. I graduated from college with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Minor in Business. I plan on one day going back to school to get my Masters. I am a wife and a mother of three wonderful children. I spend my days as a homemaker and a care giver, and as tiring as it can be I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because I was raised in the Mormon Church but because I have felt the spirit so strong in my life that there is no denying that this gospel is real and true. I have had so many experiences in my life where I have lost loved ones to death and each time I have felt impressions from the spirit that I know there is so much more to this life. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and I know that Jesus Christ paid the price for my sins by suffering and dying for me and all of us that we might live with our Heavenly Father again. With each trail I experience in my life I have found my faith tested and without fail the Lord has been there for me. I know that in a world where there is so much confusion there is one thing I can remain confident in and that is that this is the true church. Jesus Christ is the head of it and our Father in Heaven has not left us alone. We have a prophet that leads and guides us and shares with us the things that our Heavenly Father wants us to hear. Our Father in Heaven loves us and wants us to come unto him; he will never leave us.

How I live my faith

I currently teacher the 12 and 13 year old girls in our ward at church. It is so much fun to get to know them and help them to better understand this gospel that I love. They are such good examples to me of young women who want to do what is right and be leaders to their peers. I am also a visiting teacher, which means I visit with a few women from our church once a month. I love visiting teaching because it is a great opportunity to get to know other women from church in a more personal way. I have made so many great friends from visiting teaching and many of which have been ladies who have not been attending church. I am grateful that I can be their contact to the gospel and perhaps one day they will see that the love that I have for them has come from their Father in Heaven.
