Hi I'm Meagan

I am from Syracuse Utah and am currently an exercise science major at Weber State University. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports, especially basketball. I have played basketball my whole life and had the opportunity to play at a junior college for two years. I will be going on a mission to London England soon and I am very excited. I have gotten an associates degree and am working toward a bachelors degree right now in exercise science. I love to have fun, go camping, and hang out with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love God and I know that this church is His church. By being a member of this church I know that I can live again with my Heavenly Father. I know that God and his son Jesus Christ knows me and loves me. God sent his son Jesus Christ to pay for my sins that I can repent and become a better person. Being a Mormon makes me feel happy and comforted. I know that everything will be okay in life because I have God to lean on. The Book of Mormon is the Word of God. I gain strength and knowledge from reading this book. I know that Joseph Smith restored this church and translated this Book of Mormon for us saints in the latter days.

How I live my faith

I participate in my church and community by going to church every Sunday and getting to know my neighbors and fellow church members. I have had the calling of being a ward missionary, which involves helping people come to church and making them feel welcome!

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

I come to know my Father in Heaven through praying and reading the Book of Mormon. Praying is basically just talking with God. I ask questions about life, I thank him for things, I talk to him about problems I might be having, or concerns I have for my family or friends. We can get to know him through prayer, and actually become his friend. He is already our friend, he is just waiting for us to be friends with him. Show more Show less
