Hi I'm Lance Maxwell

I grew up in Glendale Ut, Im serving in the Cleveland Ohio Mission, I love basketball, I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Since i have lived in a small town most of my life the things that i grew up doing were working construction with my dad and brothers, playing sports (mostly basketball) and shooting. Since i was a boy i always wanted to go out and build stuff since I watched my dad and brothers do it. I couldnt wait to help out. now that im older I i have been learning so one day I can buy into my dads constrution company. Sports were always a big thing in my life. Basketball was my love! i hardly went anywhere without a ball in my hand or i was always watching it. When i got angry or frustated i would go practice. it was my safe haven to turn to. Shooting hand guns, rifles and shotguns is another thing i love. My family gets together for thanksgiving and shoot skeet and see which ones of us is the best shot. Right now i am serving an LDS mission in Ohio Cleveland and im loving it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i have prayed and received an answer from God that this is the true church, that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and brought the true gospel back on the earth. I Know that If i continue to live the gospel life will get easier, that i can resist the power of the devil and be able to live with my family, the savior, and heavenly father after this life.

How I live my faith

As a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I live my faith everyday! Religion is an everyday thing not just a Sunday thing and especially not a two Sundays a year thing. The way you live and act always reflects on your religion and I am proud to be serving for my church and setting a good example for it everyday. As a missionary i get to share my beliefs with many people and that is another way i live my faith!
