Hi I'm Braden Flory

I am serving a mission in Boston, Massachusetts! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi! I'm Braden Flory. I live in Wallsburg, Utah, there I was taught to work and I don't regret anything I've learned, I also had huge examples in my life, from family to the neighbors who were always encouraging me to be my best self. I graduated from High School, and helped my dad add onto the house. I'm 19 and i'm currently serving a mission in Boston, Massachusetts. After my mission I plan on going to college and furthering my education. I love swimming with a flaming passion, scuba diving, wake boarding, tubing,(anything else in water), running and just being active. I love to work. It's something that over the years I have truly come to appreciate and enjoy. I like reading, watching movies and above all, spending time with my family. I don't live on the coast, but I love the ocean and hope to live close by when I'm older.

Why I am a Mormon

The blessings of being part of this church are innumerable. I'm so grateful for the happiness that it brings me, and happiness that I can show to others. It has gave me a sense of purpose in my life. I have a knowledge of who I am, and whose I am. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon and Bible that remind me constantly of the way I should be living my life and why. I've had experiences in my life that have shown me that my Father in Heaven is just that..a literal Heavenly Father that watches over us with his tender care. I also know that his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ is my Savior, that because He loves each and every one of us, He paid the ultimate price by suffering and dying for us, so that we can make it back to our Heavenly Father. I also grateful for the authority that is restored on the earth that we can fully partake of the opportunity to make that return.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a two year mission in Boston, Massachusetts. New England is much different than Utah, it gets pretty discouraging and frustrating at times, but I sure belief in Jesus Christ has helped me pull through. I feel like I can come close to my Savior by (of course) reading the scriptures and saying my prayers daily, but also by living a life like he would, and trying to act like he would act. Striving to follow the example of Jesus Christ is what makes the mission easier.
