Hi I'm Kaela

I'm 5'0". I served a mission in Quito, Ecuador. I'm a college student, studying Family Life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm going to Brigham Young University in my hometown of Provo, Utah. I love to cook, play tennis, and study. I'm studying Family Life because I know families are eternal and I want to have a strong, Christ-centered family. I returned early from my full-time mission to Quito Ecuador and have a blog about how we can continue to share our faith with or without a badge. To see my blog, go to thedayofthislife.blogspot.com

Why I am a Mormon

I love this Gospel! Even though I was born in it, I didn't find out until late in my teen years that it is absolutely Christ's church on Earth today. I know it is Christ's church because nothing has ever brought me more happiness. I love reading the scriptures. The Book of Mormon is so beautiful, and so true. I learn so many things from the different people in there -- lessons that I can use to help improve my own life! The more I've devoted my life to living Christ's gospel, the happier I am and the more peace I feel in my own life. Every problem I ever have I can turn to God in prayer and He will help me. I wouldn't have it any other way :) This Church teaches the Plan of Salvation, which promises me that if I am faithful until the end, I will get to live with my family forever! That is the greatest blessing I could ever ask for.

How I live my faith

I try as hard as I can to live my faith every day. One thing I strive to do is read my scriptures and pray every day. Sticking to the basics is a great way to maintain a strong testimony. I also have a blog where I try to share uplifting messages of how the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ can help us in our everyday challenges. I love attending the Temple and volunteering at the Missionary Training Center. One of the best ways to live your faith is to share it!
