Hi I'm Drew

I enjoy playing soccer, I'm kind of a jokester, I'm a lover not a fighter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Utah boy. Born and raised. What's not to love? Team sports (especially soccer) in the Summer, Snowboarding in the Winter. Definitely my types of things. I love my friends and my family. Whether it is playing a video game with my brother and sister or going out and having a party with my friends. I just love joking around and making people laugh. I also love numbers. Math, when I finally grasp it, is so interesting to me. I plan to go into the Accounting field as a career. The thing that is probably of most importance to me though is my relationship with my Heavenly Father. When you know that you are doing exactly what he would have you do there is no better feeling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of the peace that comes into my life as I live in harmony with the standards of the church. There are so many reasons to be Mormon. The Book of Mormon brings added testimony and knowledge about our Savior. We follow the guidance of a modern-day prophet who helps us stay on the straight and narrow path. The opportunity that we have to live with our families forever through the priesthood power of God is definitely my goal as well. But the peace that I have felt as I have strived to keep the commandments of God is the evidence to me that this is the true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving and being an example. I feel that there isn't any better way. I try to be an example through deeds and words. I try to never allow myself to sink to a lower level than I know my Heavenly Father expects of me. Peer pressure and temptation will always be there but, I know that by living according to my beliefs I am able to rise above that and feel true happiness.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Absolutely. I gained my testimony of my Savior through reading and studying the New Testament. As a result, I can say that I indeed know that Jesus is the Christ. The Bible has so many precious truths that give us hope and increase our faith. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that the Holy Bible is indeed the word of God. Show more Show less
