Hi I'm Ryan

I am a California native who loves the outdoors. I am a family man. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

If I could go camping with the family every week I would. My wife and kids are the world to me and I love to spend time with them. I grew up playing baseball and soccer and love to be active in the warm California weather. I have always lived in the same general place for my whole life, except for 2 years I went on a mission for my church in Brazil. I have always been interested in medicine and decided to become a pharmacist. It's neat to interact with people, talk with them about their problems, and try to find solutions for better health. I definitely consider myself an "average guy" but have been blessed with superior family, friends, and life.

Why I am a Mormon

As I said before, I am an average guy that has been blessed in life. I atribute those blessings to my Heavenly Father. I know that He lives. With the world in increasing moral decay, it is ever more important to rely on the promises of God - that is, if we strive to do what is right, keep His commandments, and endure in faith, we will be blessed with eternal happiness. I have faith in the Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He has paid for my sins. I know that He loves me. I know that He lives. This faith and hope keeps me going day to day. It motivates me to raise my kids in the right way in this scary world. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints if the true church of God. It is led by a latter day prophet, like Moses, or Noah, or Isaiah. With that testimony I am able to serve, and to sacrifice, and to give all that I have to my fellow man and to God.

How I live my faith

It is a privilege to work and serve with those around me. Within my church I am a counselor, or assistant, to the bishop. I go to youth group every week, work with the Boy Scouts, go on campouts, and try to be a mentor to them. It's a rich experience to meet with people in their homes and discuss the gospel. I am also involved in family history work, service projects, and church activities locally. One of the best things about doing this great work is helping others and learning to love my fellow man and the Savior does. It is very humbling to have this assignment and I am sure that there are others around me that are much more qualified, but I know that God blesses me and helps me do what He has asked me to do.
