Hi I'm Mindy Wong

I love my family, the beach, and feeling the spirit. I'm a miracle baby, a survivor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Aloha. I'm a student. I grew up in Utah. I enjoy playing tennis, eating food, going to the beach, listening to music, reading, and above all spending time with family. I'm also up for adventure and anything outdoorsy anytime of the day. I watch animal planet more than any other show. I'm the definition of a melting pot, I'm Hawaiian, Greek, Filipino, Chinese, and Welch. I embrace new cultures and all that we can learn from people all around the world. I was born a little over three months early and I am lucky to be alive today. I like to keep things simple in life. I love to take the time to appreciate all the amazing creations around me. The gospel and my family are what truly makes me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the lifestyle and the spirit I feel, it's what makes me happy. I have been blessed with the spiritual gift of a testimony. I've been blessed to know of the truthfulness of the gospel from a young age. I know that no matter how strong my testimony or faith is in Christ it can always be stronger. The Lord has given me many trials but I know that when I'm grateful for those trials it eases the pain. I know that I will come out a better person if I keep my head up and battle through my trials. I'm especially grateful that families can be together forever. I know that the Lord atoned for the sins of the world, he loves me, and that he has changed my life and I know without a doubt that he will continue to change it for the better.

How I live my faith

I have had various callings and responsibilities in the church. Above all I believe my greatest contribution to the church is to live my life in a way that makes me become more like Christ at the end of the day. I always try to be a good example because you never know who is watching. I try to build my faith in the gospel by working on Christlike attributes such as, diligent, loving, humble, and kind to people that I have the privilege of encountering. I try to live my faith the best I can everyday by doing the little things of scripture study, prayer, and giving a kind act of service. Along with that routine, I try to visualize the woman and more importantly the Daughter of God I want to become and it increases my faith.
