Hi I'm Nicolette

I am a graduate student. I dream big. I love to laugh. I have a weakness for ice cream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love: spending time with my family and friends, reading anything written by Stephen King, eating dessert first, writing everything down, memorizing poetry, dancing at weddings, and learning as much as I can about everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me joy. I have the confidence that no matter the trials placed in my path, everything will be okay. I have a light to look towards in times of darkness, and someone to guide me in times of confusion. I am a Mormon because I have felt the endless love that God has for each of his children, and I know that one day we will return to live with Him. This knowledge gives me the hope, courage, and motivation to live each day with happiness. And I am a Mormon because I want to be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing others how happy I am because of it. I try to always have a smile on my face, and I try to stay positive, even when things are hard. I also live my faith by consistently trying to do the things the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches, including showing genuine love to others through service.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Nicolette
We come to know our Heavenly Father through praying to Him. When we pray and really take the time to talk to our Father in Heaven, as if He were right beside us, listening to every word; He truly will be, and we will feel His presence. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Nicolette
Everything reveals that we have a loving Heavenly Father! One of my favorite things to do is to look at the sky at night- and every time I gaze up at the billions of stars and bright light of the moon, I can’t deny that there is a God. Every time I think about my body, and the complex way it functions, I can’t deny that there is a God. Every time I look into the innocent face of a newborn baby, I can’t deny that there is a God. If we take the time to really stop and pause and look around, it is spectacular to see that all things truly denote that God exists, and that he loves us. Show more Show less
