Hi I'm Kouji

I believe in Jesus Christ with all my heart. I am a believer, a Japanese missionary, a singer, and a Mormon!

About Me

I love God and my family. I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan until 18, and I have lived in Draper, Utah and Rexburg, Idaho. My family still lives in Tokyo, Japan. I do love my family and am so grateful to be with them. Also, I love to sing and play the music. I strongly believe that pure music has a power to heal and give us strength, and it is one of the greatest gifts of God. I am currently serving in California Anaheim Mission as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a great opportunity in my life, and I love it. Having Faith in Jesus Christ is my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon brings me a bright hope and a foundation of life because the church teaches that Jesus Christ is the Savior and the redeemer. Through his atonement and love everyone can go back to Heaven. The Savior Jesus Christ sacrificed himself and atoned our sins because He loves us. The Holy Ghost reveals the truth when you have desires, like he did that to me. I am a Mormon because I am a beliver in the goodness of life and of Jesus Christ. Faith in him brings us happiness!

How I live my faith

Through scripture study, prayer, and dedicated service, I live with my faith. Every day is learning, and even changes the quality of my life. Scri[tures open my mind to the truth and to ther Lord. Prayer gives us the direct guidance from Heavenly Father. Service strengthens my faith in Jesus Christ and love for everyone. Having faith in Jesus Christ helps me become positive and happy. Faith can make a miracle when we exercise it meaningfully. And, often I show my faith in Jesus Christ as I sing to him. Heavenly Father answers my prayers through my faith in Jesus Christ. I LOVE THE SAVIOR!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Kouji
There are several ways that you can work on to know whether what we believe is true. If we ask Heavenly Father with real intent, He will answer you. If you read the Book of Mormon with your desire, you will find happiness. I, myself, came to know the truth with these simple and meaningful ways. Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Kouji
It is called tithing. Tithing is a sacred commandment. It will not be paid for the leaders of church nor anyone who belongs to this church. But, we use this sacred fund to build local meeting houses and temples. Also, our God promises to pour out blessings to those who honestly and faithfully pay tithing. Show more Show less

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Kouji
Temples are the house of the Lord. In the temple we learn more about the Lord and his glorious gospel. Also, we do work on ordinances for those who died. It is an amazing place to be. I testify that having temple is a great blessing. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Kouji
We, as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, believe that our families can be together in eternity. Family is where we can feel peace and love, learn more about our Savior Jesus Christ and his atonement, and apply what we believe. Heavenly Father gave us families to learn and grow up! What is faith?

Kouji
Faith is to believe something that cannot see, which is true. Alma 32:21. Our Heavenly Father gave us this great opportunity to have faith in his Beloved son Jesus Christ. When we believe in him, we love him and strive to serve him. Faith also brings us happiness and joy! Show more Show less
