Hi I'm Ron and Ginger Brown

Hi, we are Ron and Ginger Brown. We're parents, grandparents, teachers, cowboys, and Mormons.

About Me

We grew up in Northern Utah and spent much of our youth riding horses. Ron served a two year mission in the Eastern Atlantic states. Ginger competed in rodeo queen contests and was first runner up in the Miss Rodeo Utah contest. We both graduated from Weber State University in education, and later we retired from teaching. Ron was a second grade teacher, and Ginger was a reading specialist. We have three sons and ten grandchildren. For many years, we had a roman riding act that we traveled and performed with to audiences from California to the East Coast. While working for Great Adventure amusement park in Jackson, New Jersey, we became acquainted with Hollywood animal wranglers. That association helped us get work in the movie industry. We have trained animals to work in the New Testament videos, other LDS productions and over 80 major motion pictures.

Why I am a Mormon

We were baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the age of eight. Ginger was raised in Plain City, Utah and Ron grew up in North Ogden, Utah. We had great parents and teachers who taught us gospel principles and helped us to build our testimonies of the truth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We came from pioneer heritage. Our ancestors played an important role in the early settlements of the Mormon church. Throughout our lives we have strived to follow their examples. Our family grew closer to our pioneer ancestors as we had the opportunity to work on church films: Legacy and Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration. The early pioneers focused on faith, hard work, family, Jesus Christ, and God. Our pioneer ancestors sacrificed much. They endured loss and suffered hardships. They loved Jesus as Jesus loves each of us. He wants us to be happy. Being members of this great Church makes us happy!

How I live my faith

We have had faith promoting experiences while filming, roman riding, teaching, and while raising our family. These opportunities have caused us to learn and grow. While providing animals for the Bible videos our testimonies have increased along with our understanding of what it would have been like to see what the Savior saw. Living by faith is trying to be more like Jesus Christ. We believe one of the best ways to help others is to give freely of your time, talents, and to lead by example. We believe in the power of prayer. We continually pray for our families, our animals, the weather, anything that affects our lives, and others. When you're dealing with animals, nothing is exact. In order for us to do what we do, we must rely upon our testimonies and faith in Jesus Christ.
